Why Play Pretties?
My Story
As a child, whenever I visited my grandparents, my Granny would always search the house looking for something to entertain me. When she found something, be it a button, chandelier bauble, trinket or flower, she would always call it a "play pretty". A "play pretty" could be absolutely anything of wonder- anything I found interest in, and anything I found beautiful. I couldn't think of anything more appropriate to name my business! Flowers never cease to amaze me! The wide variety of textures and patterns- not to mention the never ending pallet of colors always bring such joy- no matter the occasion! Flowers are the ultimate "play pretty" with their never ending possibilities and ability to show one's personality, spirit and style!

This is me and my family. (I'm the blonde on the right). My family means the world to me and they are the greatest support system! They understand my love for flowers and my desire to bring happiness to others through flowers. My career started in banking and i'm sure my degree in finance helps when staying within budget on all my jobs, but banking just isn't the place for someone with a creative gene! In 2009 I decided to leave the corporate world and nurture my creative side!
